Brief introduction:

The program “Chinese Archaeology” is divided into six episodes, each of which lasts 60 minutes. The program focuses on the important archaeological discoveries in recent years in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, the important birthplace of ancient Chinese civilization. While taking the audience to experience the real archaeological site in zero distance, the program will interpret the cultural codes in cultural relics in a full dimension.

The program uses a narrative method combining archaeological site and retrospective stories, invites experts and scholars in archaeology, cultural heritage protection, scientific and technological research and other fields to participate in the shooting, and tells the details of archaeological work and the latest findings of archaeology.

The program focuses on presenting three parts: important archaeological discoveries, important excavation sites and experts and scholars in archaeology. Through years of follow-up shooting on the project site, the audience can “touch” the excavation sites.The program will all be shot with 4k equipment, and adopt the double studio design of “cultural relics warehouse” scene and archaeological excavation site studio, and use original music to highlight the quality of the program.

The program team of Chinese Archaeology, has planned and filmed the origin of human beings in the Paleolithic Age, the stone city site of the Neolithic Age, the capital site of the Zhou Dynasty, the emperor’s mausoleum of the Western Han Dynasty, the noble tombs of the Tang Dynasty, and many other ancient sites and research institutions in China, such as museums, colleges and universities, and scientific research institutions. In the program, the host plays the role of guest archaeologists. They went into the archaeological sites in the mountains and fields at the same time with the archaeological team for new  exploration. They boarded the helicopter to look at the site from a different Angle, and used the latest exploration equipment and technology to get closer to the truth. They explored the human bone repair and appraisal center to see how the scientists made the human bones “talk”.

At the same time, the program was the first to set up studios in real archaeological sites such as the outer burial pits of the emperor mausoleum of West Han Dynasty, animal pits of Nan Mausoleum of Empress Bo of the West Han Dynasty , etc.. The host had a deep conversation with the archaeological team leader. In addition, it is particularly worth mentioning that eight top archaeological teams of China, including the Shimao Archaeological Team, the Zhouyuan Archaeological Team, the Liujiawa Archaeological Team, the Xuechi Sacrifice Archaeological team, the Qin Xianyang City Archaeological team, and the Yangguanzhai Archaeological Team, gathered together in this season’s program.Relying on the major archaeological discoveries of China in recent years. In a addition, three forms of stepped presentation are presented, focusing on the origin of human beings, cultural origins, civilization origins and historical development stages.
